Playboy model Pamela Anderson is coming (close to) home with her new role on the Vancouver-shot TV show Package Deal.
The Vancouver Island native is confirmed to be joining the new CityTV and Thunderbird Films comedy for three episodes, playing the role of a therapist.
“Pamela Anderson has a great comic flair and is a perfect fit for the brilliant ensemble cast of Package Deal,” Michael Shepard, President of Thunderbird Films, said.
Anderson, who has held roles in various works including Scary Movie 3 and 8 Simple Rules, will join the cast, in front of a live studio audience in Burnaby, that includes Julia Voth, Randal Edwards, Jay Malone and Harland Williams.
Package Deal, about a woman who believes she’s found the perfect man — until she meets his brothers, airs Thursday nights at 6-9 p.m. beginning mid-season in 2013.
