All seasons of Canadian comedy Kim’s Convenience will soon be available on Netflix internationally.
According to Thunderbird, Netflix will be launching all seasons of Canadian hit comedy Kim’s Convenience internationally.
Kim’s Convenience focuses on the daily lives of the Kims – a Korean Canadian family who run a convenience store in Toronto.
Co-created by Ins Choi and Kevin White, the television comedy is based on Choi’s broadway play of the same name.
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee stars as store owner and father Appa. Jean Yoon plays Appa’s endearing wife, Umma. Andrea Bang plays daughter Janet, whilst Simu Liu stars as their runaway son Jung.
Season three is currently being filmed and CBC recently confirmed a fourth season after the show won the 2018 Canadian Screen Award for best comedy in March.
Kim’s Convenience currently airs on CBC and is available on Netflix in Canada. No exact date has been given but it is confirmed that all seasons will soon be available worldwide through the streaming service.
