Kathleen Hepburn’s Never Steady, Never Still collected another major accolade when it was awarded the prize for best Canadian film at the 18th annual Vancouver Film Critics Circle awards, held last night (January 8) at the Hyatt Regency’s Grille and Bar.
You can catch the northern B.C.-set drama—which also yielded awards for director Kathleen Hepburn and U.K. actor Shirley Henderson—when Never Steady, Never Still opens Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival at the Cinematheque on Friday (January 12). It also received the award for best British Columbian film.
