Paula Patton has moved from the big to the small screen with her upcoming ABC series Somewhere Between. In the suspense thriller, Patton stars as Laura Price, a San Francisco-based local news producer who finds herself helping the police track a serial killer. In a strange twist, Laura finds herself reliving the week prior to the serial murders as she races against the clock to stop him before he can commit the crimes.
Somewhere Between will debut over the course of two nights beginning July 24 at 10 p.m. EST and airing its second episode on July 25 at the same time. The series will regularly air Tuesdays on ABC at 10 p.m.
Though Patton is the face of the series, she will also be joined by Teen Wolf alum JR Bourne, who stars as Laura’s husband, Tom, who also happens to be the San Francisco district attorney. Devon Sawa stars as Nico Jackson, a private investigator who was once a cop, and newcomer Aria Birch stars as Serena Price, Laura and Tom’s daughter.
Catherine Barroll, Imogen Tear, Noel Johansen, Samantha Ferris, Daniel Bacon and Michael St. John Smith also star.
There is no trailer out for Somewhere Between just yet, but since the premiere date is right around the corner, we can assume that ABC will be dropping some footage very soon.
Patton was last seen in Netflix’s The Do-Over and 2016’s Warcraft, so this is something very new for the 41-year-old actress. Will you be watching Somewhere Between when it premieres?
