TORONTO (May 11, 2017) – Discovery is proud to be home to three of this year’s nominees for the prestigious international Rockie Awards, to be presented at the Banff World Media Festival on June 12. Recognizing excellence in media from around the world, the program competition has nominated the network’s original Canadian special DEATH ON A COMET from Bell Media Studios’ Exploration Production Inc. (EPI) in the Science & Technology category. Discovery’s original Canadian hit series HIGHWAY THRU HELL, produced by Great Pacific Media, along with perrenial fan favourite DEADLIEST CATCH are also being recognized in the running for the Reality category prize.
