Former Penticton resident Travis Turner is part of an ensemble cast starring in YTV’s new television series, “Some Assembly Required.”
The series is set to premier at 6:30 p.m., tonight – Monday, Jan. 6.
Turner, an actor and musical artist, was born in Oliver and grew up in Penticton, He also lived in Calgary before moving to Vancouver for the demands of his acting career.
Growing up, he performed in plays including, “Peter Pan,” “Lord of the Flies” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Since then he has performed in more that 15 independent films, including “Scars,” “Henchin,” and “Snowtramp,” some of which were screened and won awards at various film festivals, including the Hollywood North Showcase.
He plays a character named, Aster Vanderberg, in “Some Assembly Required.”
The live action comedy series follows an eclectic and mismatched group of kids who operate Knickknack Toys.
