February 16th, 2018 / Vancouver – Thunderbird is pleased to announce the theatrical release of writer-director Kathleen Hepburn’s feature film debut Never Steady, Never Still. The critically acclaimed film, starring Shirley Henderson, will premiere with exclusive runs at select Cineplex theatres in Vancouver and Toronto starting on March 2nd and will expand to additional Canadian cities throughout the month.
Never Steady, Never Still is a tender and heartbreaking story of a mother fighting a debilitating disease and a discontent son – each alienated from their world and struggling to manage in the face of grief, guilt and chronic disease.
Since it’s world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film has been selected to screen at festivals around the world, has received numerous awards and accolades and was recently nominated for 8 Canadian Screen Awards including Best Motion Picture.
