TV highlights: ‘Somewhere Between’ premieres on ABC

POV: Joe’s Violin; Shalom Italia (WETA and MPT at 10) A donated violin leads to an unexpected friendship between a Holocaust survivor and a Bronx schoolgirl. In “Shalom Italia,” three Italian Jewish brothers try to locate the cave where they hid as children to escape the Nazis.

PREMIERE

Midnight, Texas (NBC at 10) François Arnaud (“Blindspot”), Parisa Fitz-Henley (“Luke Cage”) and Sarah Ramos (“Parenthood”) star in this supernatural thriller based on “True Blood” author Charlaine Harris’s best-selling trilogy about a town that sits on a fine line between the living realm and a hellish afterlife, where misfits (psychics, Wiccans, vampires, werewolves) tend to fit in just fine.
