Canadian Original Series Continuum Nominated for Four Saturn Awards

The Thunderbird Group of Companies and Reunion Pictures, in association with Shaw Media, are pleased to announce thatContinuum has been nominated for four Saturn Awards. The Canadian original action-drama tells the story of a policewoman from 2077 who travels back in time to 2012 to track down escaped convicts from her future.

Continuum earned four top TV nominations, including Best Syndicated/Cable TV Series category for Executive Producer Simon Barry.

Continuum’s Rachel Nichols is nominated for Best TV Actress for her role as Kiera Cameron. And Canadian actor Erik Knudsen is nominated for Best Supporting TV Actor for his role as Alec Sadler. Lexa Doig has also been nominated forBest Supporting TV Actress for her role as Sonya Valentine.

Filmed on location in Vancouver, B.C., Continuum is developed and produced by Reunion Pictures. The series is now seen internationally in more than 132 countries, and has been renewed for a fourth and final season that will air in 2015 with six episodes.

The Saturn Awards are presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, and honours achievements in each of these categories. The awards will be presented on June 25, 2015.
